The row between the Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA) councillors and the Minister for Kampala, Beti Kamya has continued to deepen.

News reaching Watchdog indicates that the furious councillors have finalized plans to impeach Kamya whom they accuse of not attending the council meetings ever since her appointment as minister.

According to Councillors , kamya doesn’t respect them and she doesn’t care about the laws governing the authority.
But according to laws constituted to govern the city, councilors don’t have the power and ability to impeach any minister.

However, the angry councillors have vowed to forcefully impeach Kamya on Thursday this very week.

This comes at the moment when Kamya and the city Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago have refused to see eye to eye ever since they were put into office.
