Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze has revealed that she is progressively getting better health wise.

In a whatsapp group chat, the legislator said she is positively responding to medication and thanked all well-wishers for praying for her in this trying moment.

She is currently undergoing an electric therapy at Manipal Hospital in India.

Nambooze for the second time on July 4, 2018 left the country for India following what she called her brutal arrest by the police on charges of inciting violence after the death of Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga on June 8, 2018. She was accompanied by her husband, and personal doctor.
