Government has joined the rest of Ugandans in a fundraise drive for Archbishop Emeritus Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo who is currently in United Kingdom battling with cancer of the throat.

Government has contributed $ 23,000 as part of the required cash needed for his operation. The Archbishop needs over shs 300 millions so that he can be taken under a required operation.

Nkoyoyo was taken to London in early January  following a deteriorating health condition after being diagnosed with cancer of the throat.

His family was unable to raise such kind of money thus resorting to engaging well wishers to contribute money to help the Archbishop go through an operation.
