Whereas most opposition leaders especially in Africa are often embarrassed and humiliated in their specific countries by the incumbent parties in power, this time round the newly elected Ghana president proved that however much the opposition leaders are humiliated, many democratic countries take them as strong ‘rocks’ in the political spheres of Africa.

Days to the inauguration ceremony of Nana Akufo-Addo as the new president of Ghana, the office of the president invited main opposition leaders from Uganda and Kenya to attend the function leaving the countries presidents uninvited.

From Uganda Dr. Kizza Besigye was invited to attend the ceremony as well as Kenya’s Raila Odinga.

After the inauguration on Saturday, the opposition leaders were invited to a State bouquet dinner.

The President of The Republic of Ghana was seen blessing the opposition leaders.
