Justice and constitutional affairs minister Gen Kahinda Otafiire has advised his compatriot Gen Kale Kayihura not to fear his adversaries but obey the law.
Otafiire says there’s nothing to fear in the courts.
The minister told CBS 88.8fm on Monday morning that the police chief should respect the courts that called him.
“Who’s Kayihura not to go to court?” asked Otafiire. “He must go to court”.
Otafiire says It’s not his job to advise Kayihura since he has a line ministry (internal affairs) but he can send representatives.
Kayihura last week didn’t attend court where he was summoned. Police says the police chief never received the summons.
