During the piping ceremony of the newly promoted army officers on Tuesday at Mbuya Military headquarters, the new Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. David Muhoozi reflected on his agenda in office.

He said first on his agenda in the new office will be working on accommodation for the soldiers, discipline and management of the force since the entire country is now at peace.

Gen Muhoozi said he will deal with officers who get involved in dubious deals adding that he will not tolerate soldier once caught in illegal deals.

On the same occasion, he praised his predecessor, Gen Katumba Wamala for having been a hard working and exemplary leader saying that he is very optimistic that the General will deliver what is expected of him in his new office as a state minister for Works.

Last week, President Yoweri Museveni early made a major reshuffle in the army, appointing Gen. Muhoozi as the new CDF replacing Gen. Katumba Wamala.
