Former Lands Minister Omara Atubo has condemned the move to scrap off the age limit by the incumbent party NRM.
While addressing mourners during his son (Innocent Onika)’s burial, Atubo said a constitution without age limit is like a car without a foot brake.
The former minister pointed out that term limits were the hand brake but they were also scrapped off by President Yoweri Museveni for his personal benefit adding that the president now wants to remove the foot brake rendering the car (constitution) deadly.
He further revealed if the constitution is tampered with, the NRM MPs will die first because they are busy seated in the front seat.
