World football governing body, FIFA has released disciplinary sanctions for different incidents that happened in the preliminary round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Uganda has also fallen in the disciplinary course after being found guilty of fans’ misconduct during their second round clash against Togo on November 15th 2015 at the Mandela National stadium in Namboole.

Cranes fans have been found guilty of sitting in undesignated places (emergency exits and stairway) during the match.

FIFA found the conduct contravening several articles of the FIFA Stadium Safety and Security Regulations.

Fufa, the local football body, has therefore been fined 5000 Swiss Franc (approx US$5003 or Ushs18.2 million) and handed a stern warning.
