Forum for Democratic Change ( FDC) Secretary General, Harold Kaija has mocked the style which was used by ex president of Gambia Yahya Jammeh who decided to flee to exile on Saturday night.

Kaija said Jammeh opted to flee Gambia when its dark because he could afford to look into the people’s eyes during day because of shame.

“Gambia’s now former president Jammeh didn’t have the courage to look the Gambians in the eyes as he was leaving and chose to leave in the night,” Kaija wrote on his social media.

He further thanked ECOWAS for standing with the people of Gambia thus inquiring where Uganda could get the entry forms to join the regional organization.

Jammeh yesterday bowed to pressure and accepted to step down as President of Gambia after conceding defeat from Adama Barrow.
