Forum for Democratic Change bosses have finalized plans to replace Gen Mugisha Muntu as party President.
Watchdog has been reliably informed that the plot to replace Muntu was cut out as the former army commander has failed to unite the party.
Surprisingly, it is not Kizza Besigye or Nandala Mafabi that’s being fronted as Muntu’s replacement. The party chiefs instead was Engineer Patrick Amuriat Oboi.
Oboi who hails from Kumi in eastern Uganda, is seen as a unifying factor in a sharply divided party.
Oboi who once was a professional teacher, later turned engineer, is an MP of Kumi County since 2001.
Mugisha Muntu beat Nandala Mafabi to replace Besigye as party leader.
