Songstress Sheebah Karungi has explained why she never gets involved in social media fights created by her fans.
A few days ago, a bitter fight between her fans (Sheebaholics) and singer Spice Diana broke out on Facebook and according to the latter, Sheebaholics have constantly showered her with insults on her page till when she felt like she can’t take it anymore.
“For sure Sheebaholics stop abusing and hurling vulgarity at me on my own account. I have never done anything wrong to you. This is beyond limits,” Spice Diana posted on Facebook page a few days ago.
Although some people thought that Sheebah might at least come out to tell off her abusive fans, she instead acted unbothered about what was happening.
And during an interview on NBS TV’s Uncut show on Thursday, Sheebah said that artistes sometimes have no control over what their fans feel or do because people are brought up from different backgrounds.
“You can’t have control over what a fan feels for an artiste, that power isn’t yours as an artiste. The artiste and fan connect because of one thing, and that’s music, but what they feel or do towards the things which happen to you in public, you can’t control it.” She said.
