Winnie Nwagi’s father Henry Kabiito has come out to defend his singing daughter from critics who always misjudge her personal conduct.
Nwagi, real name Winfred Nakanwagi has always been criticized by the public for her indecent dress code and regular fights on social media, bars among other places.
But according to her father, society always misjudges her daughter for no good reason because she always does what she has to do.
In an interview with NBS TV’s Uncut show on Wednesday, Kabiito said that Nwagi dresses like that because that’s what girls of her generation do, and loves the fact that she beats up people who try to mess with her.
“The skimpy outfit she wears is what her generation does. I was told my daughter dresses indecently, so I called her home and asked why she dresses like that, she told me that what she put on was given to her by her sponsors and she had to do the affirmative. I wish her luck and all those who mess with her, let her beat them up so that they don’t mess with her again,” he said.
Kabiito further noted that he has not earned anything from his daughter’s success but being called a celebrity’s father is enough for him.
“I am so happy that my daughter does things which make many people laugh, I have not gotten anything from Nwagi because what she does is her’s and I also have my things, but I always feel happy when I go somewhere and they call me a father to the celeb.”
