A video showing NTV Uganda entertainment presenter Lynda Ddane giving actor Housen Mushema a swelling in his pants during a live television show has surfaced online.
The video shows Mushema, who starred in Second Chance TV series, trying to hide his horn after Lynda Ddane danced closer to him, rubbing her butt on him, something that aroused the man in him. Mushema’s attempt to cover up the horn was fruitless, so he pretended to be serious and danced it away after Lynda leaves him and joins another line of guests dancing.
Captured some time back, the video was shared online by members of the Fun Factory comedy group who had been hosted by NTV the Beat show to market one of their shows. Hannington Bugingo (who captioned the video ‘When we took over NTV The Beat with Lynda Ddane’), one of the members of the group, said Mushema shouldn’t be criticised for having a horn on air because he is human and has flesh and blood.
“What you guys don’t realize In this video is that Lynda Ddane had just given Mushema Housen back his phone and he was in the process of putting it back in his sweat pants pockets,” joked Bugingo, then became serious: “Stop judging, I beg, because we are all human beings and we have blood.”
But other social media followers like one who calls herself Princess Uganda wondered: “Why would such a guy [Mushema] be in studio if he can’t control himself; yekaziza naye biganye. Amadu mangi yalabi [he has tried to hide it but he is visibly burning with lust].”
When the video was brought to Lynda Ddane’s attention as she celebrated one year on NTV the Beat show as co-presenter, she simply laughed it off. One of her fans had asked: “Why did you move; look what you did to the guy in the red shirt [Mushema]?” But some people accused her of intending to embarrass Mushema while others simply focused on how endowed the actor is.
