Rapper Faith Nanyanzi aka Felista Da Superstar has officially joined fellow singer Fresh Kid at Kampala Parents School (KPS) on scholarship.
Felista recently acquired a scholarship from Ruparelia Foundation to study at KPS till when she finishes Primary Seven.
She started school on Monday and during her welcoming press conference held at KPS, One of the directors of Ruparelia Group Rajiv Ruparelia thanked KPS founder, Dr Sudir Ruparalia and other trustees for supporting, discovering, promoting and nurturing young talent.
“Education is not about learning in the books, education is about learning about life skills that will help you when you are old. We shall ensure you learn how to avail your discipline, learn how to be confident and we shall make sure that all we offer to you will help grow your music career,” he said.
Rajiv further advised Felista’s parents to save the school fees they’ve been paying to the rapper’s former school such that it helps them to pay for her secondary school fees.
Felista has been a rival of Fresh Kid ever since she joined the music industry, but apparently both artistes will be sharing the same school canteen and stage while at school.
The seven-year-old rapper acquired this scholarship last year after staging a stunning performance during the Ruparelia Foundation Christmas party for underprivileged children, which impressed the crowd including Rajiv, who is also one of the directors of KPS.
