Reigning Miss Uganda Oliver Nakakande has made it among the top 10 Miss World models, making her the first Ugandan representative to receive this honor.
Miss World ‘Top 10 model challenge’ is one of the stages that beauty queens go through to determine the worthy person for the big title of Miss World pageant.
The beauty from Bombo shared this excitement through her social media platform to confirm this news.
“I am screaming Uganda (for the very first time ever) Uganda has today made it to top 10 in Top model challenge, God is great,” she said.
During that challenge, Nakakande also got a chance of working with London’s finest fashion designer Zandra Rhodes.
“Such an honor wearing and walking for the iconic Zandra Rhodes collection as we were being judged for top model. I loved the outfits so much and thanks to Miss World for this great opportunity. Congratulations to all my sisters that made it to top models top 10,” Nakakande shared.
Nakakande is currently among the remaining 40 contestants out of the 120 beauty queens who had joined this 69th edition of Miss World beauty race from around the world.
She is currently one of the strong contents eyeing to take on the crown after Mexican beauty Venessa Ponce De Leon, the reigning Miss World, in an event that’s scheduled for December 14 at ExCel in London.
