Reigning Miss Uganda Oliver Nakakande is 40 is on the verge of emulating Quiin Abenakyo at the Miss World pageant race that’s happening in London, United Kingdom (UK).
The beauty from Bombo a few days ago traveled to UK to represent Uganda at the 69th edition of Miss World beauty pageant.
And over the weekend, she made it to the top 40 following a head to head challenge on Sunday.
This pageant race kicked off with over 120 contestants from across the globe. Now the remaining 40 contestants are now gearing for the grand finale, scheduled for December 14 at ExCel in London, aiming to replace Mexican beauty, Venessa Ponce De Leon, the reigning Miss World.
To vote for Nakakande, one is advised to download the MobStar App, look for her name (Oliver Nakakande) and then vote. Alternatively, you can visit the Miss World website on www.missworld.com, look for Nakakande’s name and then vote.
Nakakande took over the Miss Uganda title after Abenakyo, who finished in the top five and also won the title for Miss World Africa 2018-2019, in the pageant’s finale that happened in Sanya, China.
