NTV Uganda news anchor Flavia Tumusiime has opened up on why she has not yet given birth, even after getting married to her longtime lover.
Tumusiime recently tied a knot with fellow NTV presenter Andrew Kabuura in a glamorous private wedding. Since then, concerned social media in-laws have constantly questioned her on when she plans to become a mother.
During a ‘question and answer session’ on her social media platform over the weekend, the 32-year-old told her fans that matters of having children are discussed between two people, and her decision of having children was already made.
“My husband and I had a discussion at the beginning of our relationship about having kids. It’s not something we are rushing into. Matters of kids should be discussed between two people, you look at your ability to take on responsibility and other factors, then you go for it,” she said.
Tumusiime and other female celebrities who include Irene Ntale, Sheebah Karungi among others have always been questioned on when they are planning to give birth.
And recently during the Omwoyo Concert presser, Sheebah also opened up about this matter, claiming that she wants to have kids very soon, but not interested to settle in marriage.
“I want to have one or two children but honestly speaking, about marriage, I am not ready for marriage and I will not settle down for it. Men might be interested in me but I’m not settling for marriage,” she said recently.
