Television personality Faridah Nakazibwe has used the Eddy Kenzo – Rema Namakula breakup to send a strong message to her husband.
In a shared video on her social media platform on Monday, the NTV Mwasuze Mutye show hostess was seen singing along Rema’s song Sili muyembe with her children.
The song, loosely translated to mean ‘I am not a mango’ was a dedication to Kenzo by his baby mama of five years.
In the 2018 song, Rema stated that she’s soon getting tired of being patient, and one day she will move on and leave him in regrets.
“I am not a mango that one has to wait till it gets ripe, I am neither a pawpaw that they eat when ripe. Never curse or even blame me for dumping you because I’ve been patient and waited for so long,” said Rema in the song.
But possibly Kenzo took her message lightly and the results are now trending on social media.
Just like all girls who want their bay daddies to put a ring on it, Nakazibwe made it clear that someone should let her husband, Dr Omar Ssali know about it.
“Love is going to disturb these ones (daughters), let them sing along what they don’t understand. Meanwhile I am also not a Mango…. If you have understood let the one responsible know about it,” she shared.
Rema dumped Kenzo for a new man identified as Hamza Sebunya, a doctor at Mulago Hospital. Rumor has it that their introduction ceremony shall be happening on November 14.
