Troubled Gospel singer Judith Babirye has used her voice to hit back at people who have made her life a living hell, claiming that they should all die.
In her new song dubbed ‘Buli Uzziah Affe‘, the Buikwe Woman Member of Parliament says every evil thing or person standing in her way should wear the power of death, and leave her alone.
It’s not a secret that Babirye is currently facing a lot of ups and downs in her marriage to fellow legislator Paul Ssebulime. Matters were made worse when she fled the country to, reportedly save her life and that of her unborn baby.
Now she has classified all her problems as the once king of the ancient Kingdom of Judah ‘Uzziah’, who God punished with a painful death, after standing in his God’s way.
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne and the train of his robe filled the temple,” reads Isaiah 6:1, and from that biblical verse, Babirye claimed that God gave authority to his people that whatever they tie on earth shall be tied in heaven too.
“Every Uzziah standing in my papers should wear the power of death. Enough is enough, I’ve been quiet for long but Uzziah should leave my children and my husband alone. I am a Born Again and saved from witchcraft, Uzziah should die,” sings Babirye in the song.
The singer further claimed that ‘she’s powerful, the time for tears is now over, and it’s time to fight the Uzziah standing in the way of her happiness, travel papers, work, life, Ministry,’ among others.
Impeccable sources say Babirye had to dash to police several times at night to report her husband for wanting to kill her on top of fear that she ‘could be a victim of ritual sacrifice from the man she committed to’.
To make matters worse, it is reported that her co-wives are also posing a threat to her life too, thus making her marriage almost impossible.
Are these the ‘Uzziah’s’ making Babirye’s hard?
