Singer Paul Mutabaazi aka Fresh Daddy is set to swim in cash after opening a ‘multi-million’ unisex saloon along the Ntinda-Bukoto road.
This saloon is named after his ‘hit’ song Mazike. According to the struggling singer, ‘Fresh Daddy Mazike’ saloon is well equipped to offer services to men, women and children.
During its grand opening on Monday, Mutabaazi alleged that he wants to offer services to fellow celebrities, and also pledged to give free services to his ex-wife Madrine Namata, the mother of his celebrity son Patrick Ssenyonjo aka Fresh Kid.
“I will be giving mummy Fresh Kid an offer. If she want to change her looks we will always give free services to her. She is the mother of my celebrity son and has also given me many children. Beauty care service is the least I can do for her,” he said.
Mutabaazi claimed that this isn’t his first venture in the saloon business. He run a saloon back in Luweero although it wasn’t as big or on the standards of the newly opened one.
The 50-year-old singer also has hopes of making the place even bigger by opening a massage parlor, manicure and pedicure services to his customers.
He alleged that he has been saving money from good Samaritans like Maama Fiina, Members of Parliament among others who have constantly came out to help them, thus making his saloon dream possible.
Mutabaazi rose into fame following his son’s ‘Fresh Kid’ success in the entertainment industry. The former manicurist later joined that music industry with help from singer Kalifa Aganaga of Bad Character records.
And currently he has two songs Mazike and Buchupa that have made him a ‘music star’ too.
