The bitter war between singer Sadat Mukiibi alias Kalifah Aganaga and Spice Diana’s manager Roger has now accelerated, with former claiming that the latter and MC Kats are jealous about his artiste ‘Fresh Daddy’.
Recently, Kalifah took Fresh Kid’s father Paul Mutabaazi (Fresh Daddy) to studio, and recorded for him a song dubbed ‘Mazike’, and ever since then, Kiboko singer and Fresh Daddy have been moving to places while marketing this song.
However, things didn’t go well for them when they went at Wave Lounge, a Kololo based night hangout on Thursday night to premier the song, as the two singers were bounced out.
According to sources, there was a bitter exchange of words between Kalifah and manager Roger, with Kalifah pinning Roger for paying deejays, and presenters not to play his music or that of his artiste ‘Fresh Daddy’.
A usual, Thursday nights at Wave Lounge are always hosted by the veteran MC Kats, who Kalifah also blamed for having connived with Roger, to bounce them from the club.
But according to MC Kats through his social media page on Friday, he didn’t play Fresh Daddy’s music because it would have killed their hype.
“Sorry we couldn’t allow this music destroying the hype on our night,” Mc Kats stated.
However in a video shared on social media, Kalifah insisted that Kats refused to play his music because he has lately tuned into an artiste’s manager, and fears to play his music because ‘Kalifah’ is a big competition to Kat’s struggling artistes, and that Manager Roja is just jealous about his success.
“How do you expect Kats to play my music when he is managing struggling artistes like Shammy K, and Roger is just jealous, he signed new artistes to make people think that we were bad musicians, he even pays presenter to stop playing our music,” he said.
