Rapper Patrick Senyonjo alias Fresh Kid is not planning to go down without a fight after a minister joined social media to debate his music vis a vis school.
Through his social media page, the seven-year-old alleged that the recent ban he received from the State Minister for Children and Youth, Florence Nakiwala Kiyinji is only meant to send him back to the village.
“They want me back in village… Who stands with me in this situation am going through??? Share please if you with me success #BamuzeeyiMukulu #Banteeka #FreeFreshKidTalent” he posted.
This cry for help came after Nakiwala threatened to arrest anyone who trades with Fresh Kid, either as an agent or client, claiming that the Kid should be in school not on stage.
Nakiwala also warned that Fresh Kid could risk being arrested and kept in a juvenile remand home to reform if he defies her directive.
Despite claiming that he always goes to school and music is just his after class business, Nakiwala believes that he is too young to make performances in night clubs and bars.
However, for a Kid who joined to music industry to fight for a good life, Fresh Kid feels like the Minister is just trying to stop him from exercising his talent and earning a living.
Previously, during an interview with nbs After5, Fresh Kid told Douglas Lwanga that his parents are not financially stable, he disclosed that his mother fries Chapattis on the roadside, and the father moves door to door doing pedicure and manicure.
The Kid strongly believed that his talent might revive his family’s fortunes.
