Nigerian superstar DemIni Ogulu, commonly known as Burna Boy has jetted into the country ahead of his show dubbed ‘Burna Boy Xperience’. The show is scheduled for Friday, March 22 at Kampala Sheraton Gardens.
Burna Boy is popular in Uganda for songs such as, Like to party, Soke, Miss You Bad, On the Low, Sekkle Down, Run my Race, among others. This will be his second performance in Uganda after the Club Mega Fest in September 2014.
The 27-year-old Afro-fusion singer rose to fame in 2012, after releasing his hit single dubbed ‘Like to party’, and he is currently a household name across the continent.
According to the organisers of ‘Burna Boy Xperience’, this show will feature performances from other local artistes such as Sheebah Karungi, Irene Ntale, John Blaq and Fik Fameica. There will also be amazing spins from top DJs Slick Stuart and Roja, Ssesse, Naselow.
Sheebah has already confirmed her attendance too through face book, as she rallied all Sheebaholics to come through for this event.
“I Will be performing this Friday at @burnaboygram Kla experience at @Kampalasheraton Gardens!!. Its going down and you don’t wanna miss this!!” Sheebah posted.
John Blaq also confirmed “Lets catch up this Friday @burnaboygram Kampala experience @kampalasheraton gardens, don’t miss because we gonna mash it up” he posted.
From Kampala, Burna Boy heads to Kigali, Rwanda for the Burna Boy Xperience-Kigali.
