Henry Tigan has threatened to drag a local online news channel to court ‘for always spreading fake information about his relationship with Bobi Wine’.
Kampala Eagle posted a statement on their timeline, claiming that the Out of Control singer blamed Bobi Wine for teaching him drugs that in return killed his music career.
“Bobi Wine is not a good leader; he taught me how to smoke weed then my career ended like that. I was a better musician before he lured me into his group firebase. I will vote and campaign for NRM and I am going to expose Bobi wine’s character because I know him from head to toe,” reads Kampala Eagle’s post.
On seeing the post, Tigan didn’t take hours before defending his relationship with Bobi Wine, as he trashed all rumors that the Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine introduced him to drugs.
Through his social media, the Aboogezi singer stressed that ever since he parted ways with Bobi Wine, a lot of fake information has be circulated through Kampala Eagle but currently he feels fade up, and has decided to them to court, to tell him who is behind or paying them to write ill about him.
“It’s so annoying that you don’t even know the journey of me and Bobi Wine so you’re writing to increase on your likes, and tarnishing my name just to kill my fan base and increase yours,” he said.
Tigan stresses that even after parting ways with Fire Base, Bobi Wine has always been like a brother and always supportive to him, but Kampala Eagle has played a big role to make it look like they are enemies.
“I was with Bobi Wine during the campaigns that led to his rise as the MP of Kyadondo East, why don’t you tell people the truth that you’re their worst enemy you Kampala Eagle guys. Please lets meet in court coz am fade up of this.”
Tigan was one of the most prominent Reggae artistes in the entertainment industry, and with songs like Aboogezi, Muzudde, Wadawa, Out of control among others.
But in 2011, his music career started to fade when he parted ways with his manager Suudi Man, and despite all his current hard work, he has failed to make a big come back.
