Veteran events host Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats has taken the blame for the embarrassing verbal fight he had with his baby mama Fille Mutoni during a Valentine’s Day performance at Wave Lounge Kololo.
While speaking to a local TV station, Kats says whatever he did was wrong, but he was driven by anger.
“I didn’t think even at one time that she (Fille) would do something like that to me, but I take the blame because maybe anger got the best of me and said what I shouldn’t have said,” Kats revealed.
Kats alleges that despite their relationship fights and breakups, he still holds Fille in high regards and didn’t mean to embarrass her.
“Mama Abby will always remain Mama Abby and I will always respect her for that,” he said.
However, Kats claims that he will not give Fille her social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook) because they belong to him.
“For the seven years I have pushed Fille’s music, these accounts are the only things I can hold on to, with these accounts I can still earn some little money from companies that advertise on them. And still, these accounts where opened up using my personal email, I just can’t let go of them,” said MC Kats, adding that he has no ‘bad blood’ towards Fille or her music, and that incase she ever wants to talk things through, she knows where to find him.
The latest episode of the embarrassing fight last week stems from Fille’s diss songs ‘Fall in Love again’ and ‘Bye Bye Ex.’
While performing ‘Fall in Love Again’ on Thursday, MC Kats jumped on stage, grabbed the microphone from her and told revealers how he built Fille’s music career from nothing.
He also said he has done a lot of good things to build Fille’s music brand and he deserves some respect for the seven years he has spent pushing Fille’s music career.
She shot back with ‘You can’t be overly too nice…. people mistake that for weakness!!! Stand up for yourself because you bring so much to the ‘table’!!!’
