Jose Chameleone has finally succumbed to pressure and allowed to perform at a Netherlands’ show he had recently cancelled. This follows a social media beating he received recently.
“RELOADED!!!Everything is set!!, we are going to bring the house down. AMSTERDAM/ HOLLAND March 23. Brussels/Belgium. Stockholm/Sweden. Paris/France. Copenhagen/Denmark, Dates are loading too,” he posted.
This has come days after a Netherlands-based Ugandan events promoter Eddy Messiah threatening to make Chameleon’s life hard in Europe and also to make his international music trips impossible after allegedly running away with his money.
Messiah claimed that they organised a show in Amsterdam on which Chameleone and David Lutalo were to be the guest performers of that show.
He alleged that Chameleone started to ‘play tricks’ on them and making excuses after they paid him €1000 (About Shs5 million) as deposit, off the €2000 (About Shs10 million) that Chameleone had requested. The artiste was to get his balance upon arrival in Netherlands.
Messiah alleged that Chameleone cancelled his attendance because DJ Erycom, the official DJ of the show drafted a poster, making his (Erycom) and Lutalo’s picture bigger than that of Chameleone.
Chameleone used it as an excuse to cancel his attendance and also refused to pay back what Messiah had already paid him.
But after receiving threats and insults from the event promoters and his fans in Amsterdam, Chameleone has decided to give in to pressure and agreed to perform at the show.
This show is slated to happen at Sky Palace Amsterdam, Netherlands.
