Artiste Shafik Walukagga alias Fik Fameica has landed in more trouble with money lenders after the ‘Mafia’ star bought a new Pajero GDI earlier this year.
For showbiz purposes, Fameica posted pictures on his social media, posing next to his new ride and captioned ‘Different year, different ride, Hard work pays.’
Little did he know that this post will awaken city money lender John Kabanda, who has currently promised to confiscate Famieca’s new ride till he pays what he owes.
For starters, Kabanda lent Fameica and his manager Karma Ivien over Shs50 million when organising Fameica’s ‘My Journey Concert’ that happened at Kyadondo Rugby grounds on December 4, 2018.
Unfortunately this show was a flop and Kabanda could not collect what he had invested. But given the pressure from other money lenders and the public, Kabanda stepped down and gave Fameica time to settle his debt later when pressure on him has come down.
But on seeing Fameica’s post, Kabanda has jumped out from the hiding to demand his money, claiming that if Fameica can currently afford that ride, why not pay him.
Kabanda has given Fameica up to 1st February 2019 to clear up what he owes him, or else he is coming for the ride.
