It seems Bebe Cool’s feud against Bobi Wine is far from over.
As many people thought that yesterday’s hug and a handshake between the two archrivals was a straight sign of reconciliation, to Bebe Cool it nothing close to that.
For starters, during the 10 years of Eddy Kenzo concert on Friday at Serena Hotel, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine shook hands and hugged amid chants from revelers. They didn’t stop at that, they went ahead to share a table with Buganda Kingdom Premier (Katikiro) Peter Charles Mayiga.
However, according to the ‘mbozzi za malwa’ singer a hug doesn’t mean that he made peace with the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament.
In fact after the nice gesture, he was interviewed by Bukedde TV’s Mary Flavia Namulindwa on whether he had finally buried the hatchet with Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool had this to say;
“I respect the Katikiro, Buganda and Uganda. The Katikiro represents my King so I cannot disrespect him,”
On several occasions, Bebe Cool has been saying that he will never forgive Bobi Wine unless he apologizes to him personally and publicly.
Meanwhile, during the concert, Katikiro Mayiga requested the two to stop feuding.
Last month during the Tondeka Ekiwatule Mutima Gwa Zaabu concert on Boxing day, Mama Fiina, the leader of traditional herbalists in Uganda said she was ready to reconcile Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone.
“I’m ready to reconcile Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Chameleone. These three were friends. They need to settle this grudge and forgive each other,” she said.
Adding, “If Bobi Wine doesn’t forgive Bebe Cool, let Bebe Cool forgive Bobi Wine.”
