Self proclaimed ‘Fresh Bouy’ is currently weeping after registering a massive flop at his “My Journey concert” that took place at Kyadondo Rugby grounds on Friday.
Unlike his first show that happened at Sky Beach, Freedom City in 2017, sources say that this time round Fik Fameica who had to step on stage by 9:45 pm delayed his performance till around 10:30 pm, but the turn up never increase at all.
The VVIP tables and VIP section were almost empty, majority in the ordinary section were Fameica’s fans from ‘Team Fik Fameica’ who allegedly had free tickets.
However, fellow rapper Gravity Omutujju has urged Fameica not lose hope because of this failure. He said he could be successful next time.
“Every successful person has a painful story” “Every painful story has a successful ending”. A lot of negative and discouraging stories are being spread by media platforms and Social Media mongers, your journey has just started, don’t loose hope and strength” Gravity posted on his Facebook page.
Social media critics however claim that the flop of this concert, could be because the ‘byenyenya’ singer chose a wrong name for the concert “My Journey” for he has been in the industry for just two years.
Others claim that maybe the entrance fee was too high for his audience “Shs20,000 ordinary and Shs50,000 VIP”, or maybe because people are gearing up for Christmas.
However, apart from the low turn up, everything about the concert was on point, The Dances, Sound, Lights, Production and performance.
