Quiin Abenakyo will return to Uganda on Wednesday, December 19.
Abenakyo, who was crowned new Miss World Africa 2018 at the recently concluded Miss World Beauty Pageant said she has delayed to return home due to Miss World duties on behalf of the African continent.
“19th of December, I will be touching down in Uganda. I am currently still on Miss World duties on behalf of the African continent, I will soon be Communicating the program of how everything will happen from the time I will land,” she said.
On Thursday, the 22-year-old attended the official coronation dinner that took place at Visun Royal Yacht Hotel in Sanya China.
Also in attendance were Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce De Leon (Mexico), Miss World Europe Maria Vasilevich (Belarus), Miss World Caribbean Kadijah Robinson (Jamaica) and Miss World Asia and Oceania – Nicolene Pichapa Limsnukan (Thailand).
Abenakyo became Uganda’s first contestant to make it to the top five in the Miss World beauty pageant.
