There are countless bars and night spot in Uganda. These, however, do not cater for the Christian needs. On Friday though, the night club landscape is bound to change with the grand opening of a strictly Christian club.
Proprietors say it will be a non-alcoholic, drug and smoke free hangout.
The club, according King Wesley, a radio host of ‘Wake Up Call’ on Spirit Fm will be located on Equatorial Mall, Kampala.
“The non-alcoholic club will offer clean and Godly entertainment only,” Wesley said.
“It will also be a place for youth to enjoy a secure and calm nights while staying out of troubles associated in worldly clubs.”
This club will also provide a platform for Christian artistes to showcase and promote their music and also interact with their fans.
Proprietors claim that there will be no explicitly stated dress code or dancing limitations, but attendees will be expected to be respectful of each other and the Christian faith.
