Earlier this week, King Saha and Weasel jetted to Kenya for the 2019 edition of Coke Studio Africa.
All seemed good until social media noise makers decided to question whether Weasel had replaced the late Radio Mozey with the ‘Biri Biri’ hit maker.
This after the duo shared ‘cozy’ photos of themselves on their social media platforms. They also had an interview on Kenya’s Kiss FM.
A few weeks ago, angry Radio fans had warned Saha off the late crooner’s music. And it seems this is where all the latest beef stems from.
This forced Weasel to clear the air, saying that although they went to Coke Studio at the same time, they have both had different studio sessions.
”One Man Army,” he added. “I am not planning to replace Radio with anyone.”
The two singers already have a collabo ‘Mpa Love’, that has attracted massive airplay, which probably led people into believing that Saha is eyeing Radio’s spot in Good Life. ,
Coke Studio Africa is a platform that brings together musicians from across sub-Sahara countries both upcoming and established to show case their talents, as well as teach and give foundation to young artists.
Uganda has five Coke Studio representatives who include Sheebah Karungi, Fik Fameica, Alvin Kizz, Weasel and King Saha. Recorded episodes will start airing in February 2019.
