Struggling musician Desire Luzinda has offered her unconditional support towards fellow artiste Jackie Chandiru as she embarks on her new journey of salvation.
Chandiru turned to God during Pastor Kayanja’s 77 Days of Glory at Miracle Centre Cathedral on Monday, after overcoming drug addiction problems that almost claimed her life.
From experience, Luzinda told Chadiru that it will not be easy for her because the world will scorn her and look at the negatives, but advised that instead, the former Blu*3 singer should always look at the brighter side of life.
“It is well Jackie and may the God that led you to this decision lead you through it all.I f you ever need someone to talk to, a friend I will be right at your heel,” said Luzinda.
Earlier this year, Luzinda turned to God and many people thought it was a stunt to keep her fledgling career afloat. However, she claims that every day that passes, she grows stronger in faith.
“There is no greater joy than that of falling and rising up. To anyone going through a tough time, it does not matter how many times you fall but how you rise up, pick up the pieces and fight is all that matters,” said Luzinda.
