There have been rumours making rounds that vocal queens Iryn Namubiru and Juliana Kanyomozi are ‘beefing’.

If you remember, the two were once singing partners under the now defunct I-Jay. But they fell out terribly after just one single to their name that it was once said they would not perform at the same concert. Iryn soon moved to France and left Juliana to hog all the local limelight.

They have since crafted beautiful music, releasing songs such as Nkuweeki, Birowoozo, Y’ono, Lwaki, Bonna Obasinga, Begombeko for Iryn.

Juliana meanwhile achieved success with Twalina Omukwano, Nabikowa, Woman, I am still Here.

The comaprisons between the two former Namasagali schoolmates has never stopped, fueled by speculation that they were still fighting.

However, nothing brings people together like a happy celebration.

At the wedding ceremony of Gabriella Namata, Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga’s daughter, the two songbirds met again with Iryn using the opportunity to clear the air about their relationship.

”It always feels good to meet mutual friends in one place. Those friends you do not have to speak a word to but are already laughing. Those friends that understand it even before you mention it. But most especially those that share the same vibes,” she posted.

And were seen having a lot of fun while enjoying each other’s company.
