Musician Babaritah became a recognisable force in the local music industry when her collaboration Akatijjo with songbird Fille Mutoni became a must play at most parties and a regular jam on most local FM radio play lists early in 2017.
This year seems to have even gotten better for her as she has landed her first major award nomination in the Hipipo awards where she was nominated in the ‘Must Watch Talent Category’ along side other emerging stars like Mina Izah, Nina Roz, Zulanda, Icey Kiba, Jazz Mavako and Dax Vibes to mention but a few.
Her most recent songs include Ebiyungu, Juju and older ones like Mutaano, a collaboration with Mun G titled Nkooye, Ye Sure and Yono Omwana are some of her other recognisable songs.
Just starting her 3rd year in the local music industry, this Mass Communication graduate of Mutesa One Royal University has been steadily earning her place among the rising stars.
She is under the management of Maritini Entertianment a showbiz promotion and management company that has been around for a while too but was previously more into organising concerts until it signed Babaritah as their first artiste under management.
Together they seemed to have formed a winning team that is bound to go places as they get rooted and claim their place in the local fast paced music industry.
