The leader of traditional healers in Uganda Sophia Namutebi alias Mama Fina has tied a knot with her new lover Hajj Ismael Segujja.
The two lovebirds tied a knot today at Kololo Mosque in a glamorous Islamic marriage known as ‘nikah’.
The excited bride asked £4000 (about Shs19m) as ‘Mahar’ which was paid in cash by her new husband.
Segujja was the best friend to Mama Fina’s late Husband Maj. Muhammad Kiggundu who was gunned down in 2016 by unknown assailants.
The couple was wedded by Sheikh Umar Ndawula who challenged Ssegujja to help her forget the brutal killing of Maj Kiggundu.
Before meeting Segujja, Mama Fina was linked to NRM Wakiso Chairperson Hajj Abdul Kiyimba and the two were rumoured to be getting married. Unfortunately, their plans were halted by Kiyimba’s two wives who threatened to deal with Mama Fina.
