The highly anticipated Green Festival is happening this Sunday at Kololo Airstrip.
The fun filled festival which is organised by Little Hands Go Green brings together several kids from all corners of the country with an aim of conserving the environment through planting trees.
During the event, each kid will take home a tree seedling.
There will be several entertaining activities such as bouncing castles, facepainting as well as musical performances from artistes led by renowned songstress Sheebah Karungi and Levixone.
“I am going to be performing for you at Green Festival this Sunday at Kololo Airstrip. Don’t dare miss me,” Sheebah said.
Joseph Masembe, the Chief executive officer,My kid Is A Superstar, said his initiative aims at protecting the country’s future through children.
“The future of our great pearl of Africa lies with our children. Getting them to own environmental conservation mantle is key to our environmental sustainability as a nation and people,” he said.
Entrance fee is 10k for the Kids and parents enter for free.
