I’m afraid that Bobi’s Crowd is Growing
I’m afraid that Bobi’s crowd with nothing to lose grows by the day.
They neither can lose an education nor a job.
They own no property. Neither in spirit nor in kind.
They have nothing to lose except their lives.
Yesterday, they neither had lunch nor dinner.
They feel no hunger,
except the hunger of change.
They have no thirst
except the thirst for change.
They don’t care for spiced chai and ggolu.
I’m afraid that Bobi’s crowd with nothing to lose grows by the day.
They have no lives to live
and live no lives.
They borrow life by the day, the day lends them life by the hour.
I’m afraid that those with nothing to lose grow by the day.
I’m afraid that Bobi’s crowd with nothing to lose, grows by the day.
They have no land
and the land disowned them.
I’m afraid that those with nothing to lose grow by the day.
I’m afraid that Bobi’s crowd with nothing to lose, grows by the day.
And the crowd of those with a lot to lose, gets thinner by the night.
They learned a lot, but chose to forget.
They build towers from which they play god over the crowds.
I’m afraid that Bobi’s crowd with nothing to lose, grows by the day.
