Germany has set up a website for migrants giving explicit advice on how to have sex and behave in relationships as part of a drive to educate its 1.1 million new arrivals in the cultural norms of their adopted country.
The website, Zanzu.de, shows in revealing cartoons the mechanics as well as the mores of sexual behaviour, from how babies are made to who to call if your rights are violated.
It follows growing concern about the behaviour of some migrant men, such as those who went on a rampage of sexual assaults in Cologne on New Year’s Eve, and complaints about harassment in swimming pools.
The website, titled My Body in Words and Images, offers a choice of 13 languages. It was produced by an agency of the German department of health with a Belgian state health agency.
