Hellen Lukoma was among the Obsessions band group members in the early 2000s. When the group members split up just like any other bands, Hellen teamed up with a colleague Brenda Nambi and tried music as a duo (HB toxic). It was a disaster and it failed.
She ventured into acting and fashion which seem to be doing well up to date as she’s featured in a number of local drama series like honourables and also opened up Kifampa kids fashion line alongside her House of Lukoma.
Her marriage life also looks perfect , with no scandal so far and always throwing mega birthday celebrations for her children. Her traditional wedding event is still among the ones talked about and this year’s valentine, she was given a Range Rover by her husband as a gift to celebrate love between them.
However, when it comes to her music career, Hellen has the worst vocals and that’s why she has always been upcoming since she joined the music industry. Her recently released “Njakufumba” song has very nice word, and the video is okay until you listen to the vocals behind the beats.
Many artists started off not so well but have improved greatly, Hellen Lukoma’s voice is not. One may think she just enjoys wasting her husband’s money which is okay but there other means of wasting money on music for example managing talented artists or even focusing on what she can do best like fashion (designing musicians) which is also part of the music industry that she likes so dearly.
