The democratic Party has condemned parliament leadership for closing business to attend Ugandans in North America Association conventions in Boston and Los Angeles last week.
Rebecca Kadaga and Jacobs Oulanyah, Speaker and deputy respectively, led separate delegations to US.
Over 70 MPs were in US in the same week leading to closing business at the House.
Fred Mwesigye, Press secretary for DP president general today told a press conference that DP condemned the wastage of taxpayers’ money exhibited by Kadaga and Oulanyah.
The House’s technical wing also took delegates led by none other than the clerk of parliament Jane Kibirige.
