Congolese musician Koffi Olomide was on Friday captured on tape kicking one of his dancers moments after he had landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

Kenya police officers were forced to intervene and hold back the singer who appeared unperturbed by what he had done.

Watchdog is yet to establish what brought about the altercation, but there are reports that the female dancer had argued with Koffi’s lead singer Cindy.

In the video that has gone viral, an agitated Koffi is seen heading to the dancer and unleashing a kick on her behind. Police officers who were at the scene rushed to calm him down, before his handlers escorted him to his car which immediately sped off.

Mr Olomide is scheduled to perform in Nairobi, at the Bomas of Kenya tomorrow July 23.

The media is awash with a story of one of the dancers having issues with Cindy (lead singer) and on arrival at JKIA they had an altercation then slapped her. Koffi was informed about the incident and became so furious. He pounced on the dancer and kicked her in front of the Kenya police and other passengers.
