The Rhumba singer was arrested on Tuesday at his home in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Olomide denied assaulting one of his dancers identified as Pamela. His lawyer George Wajackoyah also accused police of manhandling the musician.
Koffi was on Tuesday arrested at his home in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, for assaulting his female dancer at Jomo Kenyatta international airport in Nairobi Kenya.
Olomide was widely condemned for his actions after the video leaked on social media. However, he moved fast to apologise for the incident in a Facebook post.
He called it a “moment of madness”. Kenyan authorities arrested him, spent a night in a cell, and the next day put on the plane back to Kinshasha.
