A woman who won PostBank’s top prize during the Win Big promotion, has said it was God that answered her prayer request.
Dorcus Chege, a logistics officer in Gulu narrated how she was amidst a prayer session in which she was asking God for a car when a phone calll disrupted her.
“Is this Dorcus? We have been calling you but you weren’t answering our call,” said a voice on the other said of the line. The voice was of manager PostBank Gulu branch. The voice broke the news that Dorcus was the lucky winner of the draw to give away a brand new Toyota premio.
The grand draw was made by Vision Group boss Robert Kabushenga last Friday, who was flanked by PostBank Uganda’s managing director Stephen Mukweli.
On Monday morning Dorcus turned up at Kampala to pick her prize, accompanied by her husband, in-laws and friends.
She said that her job involves a lot of field assignments and on Friday evening, she had failed to get transport back to Gulu when she called on the Lord to get her a car.
“The Lord fulfilled my wish by touching PostBank to hold this promotion and manage to keep their promise.” She said.
Mr Mukweli said Win Big promotion was a reminder to people to continue saving. Dorcus’s wining voucher was made after she banked sh13 million in Gulu PostBank branch last year.
