When someone tells you never trust a woman, never underestimate him, instead thank him, if possible give him a token af appreciation.

Who would have thought that the Burundian beauty Cynthia Munwangari could stab her rich boyfriend Matthew Kanyamunyu’s back.

On Friday the police moved  Munwangari to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) at Kireka, Kampala and left Kanyamunyu in the cells at the Jinja Road Police Station, where the two were detained on 13th Sunday morning , following the shooting of Kenneth Akena at Lugogo, Kampala.

Kanyamunyu and Munwangari were taken to police custody as prime suspects in the murder case of the social worker.

Upon transfer, the police spokesperson Andrew Kaweesi said: “True, we transferred her to SIU for purposes of managing this case. We separate suspects for better case management, avoid connivance and public close contact.”

When Munwangari was taken to the SIU, it is said that she was heavily quizzed by the interrogation officials to the extent that she couldn’t hold any longer except to give in her boyfriend that he was the one who shot Akena.

Munwangari reached an agreement with the Director Public Prosecution (DPP) officials that once she testifies against Kanyamunyu in court that he is the one who pulled the trigger, she will be set free and protected by the state.
