Musician Banjo Man who was part of the Fire base cabinet a few years ago, also a young brother to Hon. Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine seems to have used his time away from the limelight and music industry, seriously.

The youthful artiste whose last known song Tumpeco was released a few years back but never made it really big decided to focus on building himself as a serious farmer and property investor something that seems to have paid off handsomely.

He is said to have over 50 rentals spread in the neighborhoods of Mulago, Kamwokya and Kyebando even in Magere Gayaza road where his elder brother Bobi Wine’s official home is located.

On talking to the press about what he has been up to, he said his goal is to be wealthy and have money like city moguls such as Sudhir Ruparelia, Godfrey Kirumira and the like, something the music was not going to do for him.

He also urged artistes to invest when they make some money so that they don’t become vagabonds and thieves when they are no longer stars and still need to find money to meet their needs.

Banjo also advised local promoters to stop wasting big money on foreign artistes for concerts here and instead pay that money to our very own artistes so that they too can become big global stars and bring in more money as well.
