On Monday, Singer Bobi Wine alongside his son Solomon Kampala visited sick Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze at her home in Mukono.

Bobi Wine who recently revealed his interest to stand for  Kyadondo East parliamentary seat, assured Nambooze that he is ready to back any opposition candidate in case he turns out more popular than him in the forthcoming by- elections.

The duo discussed and agreed that they will employ a scientific assessment to determine the best opposition candidate since the opposition cannot afford to lose the first election by-election in Buganda because of the current divisions among opposition parties.

“Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) has been to see me with his son Kampala….together we have agreed to employ a scientific assessment to determine the best opposition candidate for Kyadondo East By election and campaign to rally behind that candidate….We agreed that the opposition can’t afford to loss this first by election in Buganda because of divisions. Am so grateful that Mr.Kyagulanyi has assured me that should the scientific assessment put him below his other two opposition candidates he will back down and stand behind them…Now we have work to do and as soon as I get back on my feet I will join the forces of change to work out this puzzle and retain our Kyadondo seat,” Nambooze posted on her Facebook.
