Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has been named among the top 100 most influential young Africans by the Africa Youth Awards.

The legislator has become the face of opposition, barely two years after he was elected in office. He has managed to play a significant role in securing by-election victories for opposition MPs against the ruling party.

Other Ugandans named on the list include Kevin Lubega, Brian Mutebi and Humphrey Nabimanya.

The 2018 list presents an opportunity for young Africans to stay committed to their individual causes and continue to blaze trails across their various fields according to Prince Akpah, founding President of Africa Youth Awards.

The prestigious list released annually was launched in 2016 and features young politicians, activists, entrepreneurs, entertainers, digital influencers, philanthropists & athletes across 10 distinct categories.
