Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has joined a section of his colleagues to denounce the age limit cash.

Bobi Wine has today revealed that he is not willing to pocket the shs29 million which is meant to assist them in the age limit consultation process.

He says he has written a letter to Barclays Bank asking them to send back the age limit money and they have confirmed to have returned the cash to its source.

“I have instructed my bank to send back the 29,000,000 million shillings to the creditor and the bank has confirmed that the money has been sent back,” he said

The legislator noted that he will not support the diversion of funds they allocated to ministries especially if the fund being diverted is going to oppress people.

He said he will follow up his returned cash to see whether it reached the responsible party.

“I will follow it up to make sure it reaches the very ministry where it was taken from,” he said.

Early this week, some MPs opposed to age limit bill returned the allocated cash whereas some like Rubaga South MP Kato Lubwama and Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko refused to follow suit saying they will give the money to their constituents.
