The Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura has revealed that the four te presidential candidate, Dr. Kizza Besigye and Kampala Lord mayor, Erias Lukwago have been the biggest problem police has ever encountered since 2006.

According to Kayihura, the police’s biggest challenge since his appointment 12 years ago, has been the political situation, especially demonstrations led by Besigye and Lukwago.

” There have been several violent scenes like the muslim and boda boda conflicts that could have caused blood bath. However our biggest challenge as police was tue politic situation especially Dr Besigye and Lukwago,” Kayihura said.

“They have been a problem since 2006 but we have managed them,” he added.
